Immigration, with a plot twist

We thought transition might come up as part of my spouse's immigration process. But our immigration lawyer said otherwise after reviewing our circumstances. Time will confirm this, but so far, so good. We hadn't planned for a pandemic though, Hah! More to come, as our self-isolation begins...
