A Different Kind of Transition

We’ve met kiddo; it could not have gone better. In short, we’re over the moon.

The next steps continue the trend of coming at us quickly. This seasonal break from work has been everything but restful, though I am grateful for its timing with the beginning of this chaotic and compressed nesting.

More meetings ahead, both logistic ones without kiddo and those with the foster family to learn as much as we can about routines, expectations, etc.

Our communities are welcoming kiddo with toys, supplies, clothes, etc. Everyone regionally is eager to meet our newest addition. I don’t have anything nice to say about the response from people further afield. C’est la vie.
